Made-to-measure pleated blinds can be precisely adjusted to fit a specific window. They provide privacy, help control the amount of incoming light and take up very little space. You can choose the dimensions, fabric, colour and installation method yourself. Three options are available: standard pleated blinds, blackout pleated blinds and honeycomb pleated blinds. Each option can be installed with or without drilling.

Which pleated blind is right for your home?

If you want more privacy without completely darkening the room, a standard pleated blind is a good choice. The fabric provides around 50% light blocking while keeping the room pleasantly bright. This option works particularly well in a living room, kitchen, dining room or office. A wide choice of colours makes it easy to match the blind to the window frame and the rest of the interior.

For bedrooms and children's rooms, a blackout pleated blind may be the better option. Its fabric significantly reduces the amount of light passing through it, making the room noticeably darker even during the day. It is a practical choice for people sleeping after a night shift, young children who nap during the day and anyone who finds incoming light disruptive.

If protection against heat or heat loss is just as important as darkening the room, consider a honeycomb pleated blind. Its fabric consists of two layers with honeycomb-shaped air pockets between them. The air trapped inside creates an additional insulating layer at the window. Installation with or without drilling?

Installation with screws provides a secure and long-lasting fixing. It is a good option when drilling into the window is possible and a permanent installation is preferred.

If you prefer not to drill, the pleated blind can be attached to the window sash using clamp brackets or self-adhesive brackets. These installation methods are particularly suitable for rented homes and anywhere you want to avoid making holes in the window. The blind can also be removed easily when it is no longer needed.

It is best to choose the installation method before taking measurements. Depending on the fixing system, the points from which the width and height should be measured may vary.

How to measure and configure your pleated blind correctly

Accurate measurements are essential if the pleated blind is to fit the window correctly and operate smoothly. Before measuring, follow the instructions for your chosen installation method. You can then enter the width and height in the configurator and select the fabric, colour and fixing system.

Depending on the model, widths of up to 130 or 140 cm and heights of up to 230 cm are available. This makes the blinds suitable not only for standard windows but also for many tall windows and balcony doors.

Flexible privacy for everyday use

Depending on the model, the position of the fabric can be adjusted from both the top and the bottom. This allows you to cover only the required part of the window without completely blocking daylight. It is particularly useful in ground-floor homes, bathrooms and rooms with windows facing directly onto the street.

Check the colour before ordering

Colours displayed on a screen may look different from the actual fabric. This can be affected by the monitor settings and the lighting in the room. If you are unsure, order a fabric sample and view it directly beside the window, both in daylight and in the evening.
