Made-to-measure honeycomb blinds – blackout with added insulation
The difference is in the fabric construction. A honeycomb blind has two joined layers of fabric that form a series of air pockets. The air trapped inside provides an additional insulating layer at the window. This combines privacy and blackout with a cellular structure that can help reduce heat transfer through the window.
Each honeycomb blind is made to your measurements. In the configurator, you select the width, height, colour and fitting method. Choose between screw fitting and no-drill installation using clamp brackets.
How does the honeycomb structure help?
The air pockets can help reduce heat gain in summer and heat loss during the colder months. The extent of this effect depends on factors such as the glazing, sunlight exposure and how well the blind fits. A honeycomb blind adds insulation, but it does not replace well-insulated glazing or external shading.
Unlike a standard blackout pleated blind, a honeycomb blind offers more than light-blocking fabric: its layered construction also provides an insulating air space. It is worth considering when you want to darken a room while improving thermal comfort around the window.
Blackout fabric – even in lighter colours
The honeycomb blinds in this category use fabric with a 100% blackout rating. This means that light does not pass through the fabric itself. However, some light may still enter around the edges. Accurate measurements and a suitable fitting method are therefore important for achieving the best possible blackout effect.
The same blackout fabric properties apply to all six colours. You can choose a lighter shade without compromising the fabric’s ability to block light. These blinds are suitable for bedrooms, children’s rooms and spaces where you want to reduce distracting reflections on screens.

Screw fitting or no-drill installation?
With screw fitting, the blind is secured to the opening window sash and sits close to the glass. This method requires small drill holes and is suitable where drilling into the sash is permitted.
For no-drill installation, clamp brackets attach to the window sash and can be removed later. This is a practical option for rented properties or anywhere you want to avoid drilling holes.
Choose the fitting method before measuring
The measuring points depend on the fitting method. Select your installation system first, then follow the corresponding measuring guide. Enter the resulting measurements in the configurator.
Honeycomb blinds are available in widths from 30 to 130 cm and heights from 40 to 230 cm. Within these dimensions, they can also be configured for suitable balcony or patio doors.
Check the colour at your own window
Choose from Grey-White, Grey, Beige, Ivory, Brown and Steel Grey. Screen settings and lighting can affect how a colour appears. A fabric sample allows you to check which shade suits your window frame and interior before ordering. Compare the sample in daylight and with the room lights switched on.
